Testing

Tests are written using pytest.

Windows-specific issues with IPython history are handled by:

os.environ["IPYTHON_HISTORY"] = "0"
ip.history_manager.enabled = False

pytest

All tests should pass cleanly on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
